Noble Energy utilized the Rig to Web System for 5 laterals in 2008. It was used
to monitor drilling progress and mudlog data on a 24 hour basis and was instrumental
in aiding the steering process input to the MWD operation. Data such as lithology description,
mudlog gas shows ,ROP, GR, and conductivity probes( salinity increases) were
presented on a real time basis to evaluate wellbore position and indicate possible
recommendations or changes in steering the well path. Noble was impressed with the data
presentation and accuracy of the Rig to Web System as well as its continuous data feed to
the internet for instantaneous evaluation. Noble intends to continue its use for all future laterals.
